Yung-Hsing Wu
Yung-Hsing Wu is Professor of English at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she teaches histories of the book with a focus on reading and reception; literary theory; and contemporary US literature and culture. She is currently wrapping up a book project, Closely, Consciously Reading Feminism, which argues that irony has defined the feminist preoccupation with reading from the early days of the U.S. women’s liberation movement. Her work has also appeared in a variety of journals including Modern Fiction Studies, PMLA, Mississippi Quarterly, and Profession.
