Dina is an Associate Producer at CBS 60 Minutes where she and her producer work as a team, pitching and producing stories. She researches the story, reports and scouts out in the field to find the story and people to interview, helps to organize the shoots, and finally works in the edit room to transform hours of material into a 12-minute story. Dina’s first job at CBS News was at the CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley in the Research Department. She quickly found herself attracted to journalism, not only as the best continuing education, but also as a public service. After one year in the newsroom, she became Scott Pelley’s editorial assistant at the Evening News, and worked on his 60 Minutes stories. Throughout her five years at CBS, Dina has had the opportunity to harken back to her love of religious studies by pitching and helping to produce stories about religion.
