Paloma Perez is proud of a lot — her first generation Texan status, her immigrant roots and her college education. It’s that background that motivated her to pursue a career in policy communications and public policy. Paloma is committed to developing storytelling techniques that inspire diverse audiences to act for the good of the world and ensure that innovative ideas are pushing policy conversations forward. She currently works as a Policy and Public Health Associate at Burness, a social change communications firm. She began her career by serving as a Running Start fellow in the office of Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard before transitioning to a full-time position for Texas Congressman Marc Veasey.
