Swarthmore College
Aydelotte Student Research Fellows work to support the ongoing research projects of the Foundation and undertake guided independent research projects of their own.

Seth Jeter

Seth Jeter ’25 is a senior majoring in economics and English. He is generally interested in the history of capitalism with a particular research interest in transnational solidarities between the American anti-slavery movements in North America and the Caribbean and English working class movements in the mid 19th century which he intends to pursue after college. As an Aydelotte fellow, he wishes to investigate how the neoliberalization of universities has generated limited academic narratives of racial justice that ignore the relationship between racial oppression and class exploitation. In his free time, he enjoys playing and analyzing story-oriented video games, watching anime, reading, and going for walks with his mother and aging dog.

Prerna Karmacharya

Prerna ’26 is a junior studying education and engineering. Her interests include STEM education and human centered design. In her free time you can find her curled up with a book, playing board games with friends, or bargain hunting at a local thrift store! Prerna will be joining Aydelotte in the Spring of 2025.
