The Aydelotte Foundation is a research-driven institute.
In the 2020–21 academic year, we will continue work on the structures and histories that shape faculty and administrative responses to shifting enrollment patterns within higher education.
Our interests include:
- Methods and media forms used to trace and represent classroom experiences.
- The role of practical or vocational training in liberal arts curricula, past and present.
- Forms and practices of governance in higher education.
- Alternatives to dominant styles of institutional assessment.
We are also interested in innovative infrastructures for sustaining low-intensity distributed and collaborative research involving large numbers of academic practitioners.
